Privacy Policy

1. Principle of Minimal Data Collection
PinHub is engineered strictly to index and organize links that workspace members explicitly save. We believe that workplace conversations belong to you and your team.
We never read, harvest, or log conversations from your Slack channels. PinHub only accesses message contents when a member explicitly reacts with an approved trigger emoji (such as :pushpin:) or selects the "Pin to PinHub" message action.
2. Information We Collect
- Slack Workspace Identifiers: Team ID, team name, and bot user token required for Slack API communication.
- Saved Bookmarks: The target URL, scraped page title, meta description, timestamp, channel ID where it was pinned, and the user ID of the person who pinned it.
- Tags & Keywords: Custom labels attached by your team to facilitate in-Slack search.
- Billing Details: Processed directly and securely through Stripe. We never store or transmit raw credit card numbers.
3. Data Encryption & Storage
All sensitive credentials, including Slack OAuth tokens, are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM before being stored in Google Cloud Firestore Native databases located in secure US multi-regions (nam5). All communications between Slack, our Cloud Functions, and external scrapers are encrypted in transit over TLS 1.3.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Bookmarks remain saved until deleted by a team member via the Slack App Home interface. If an administrator uninstalls PinHub, all tokens are revoked immediately, and workspace bookmarks can be purged upon request within 30 days.
To request an immediate export or deletion of your workspace data, email [email protected].
5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, monetize, or share your data or link activity with third-party advertisers, brokers, or external AI models.
